My first reaction to this shot was the song “Beauty of Simplicity”. But I spent a long time appreciating the layers.
The faded mountain background, The sharp and jagged edges of the tree, the soft meadow, and our pensive friend in the top corner, pondering his life at that moment.
This one forces a moment of stillness to quiet us from the inside.
